After my session with Santiago I asked myself how they are measuring spin. It's difficult enough to see a small plastic object on a radar screen. But the spin rate? So I called Trackman founder Klaus Eldrup-Jørgensen. They really get a signal from the top and the bottom of the ball and can calculate the spin.
